Golden Sands Resort Lake George, Lake George

My stay at Golden Sands Resort was truly enjoyable, thanks to its fantastic location right on the lake and a host of great amenities. The rooms were cozy and clean, making it a perfect getaway for relaxation. I loved the free kayak rentals and the beautiful views, although I wish the showers were a bit larger. Overall, it's a solid option for a family-friendly retreat with good value for money.

Our stay was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, perched right by the lake and perfect for family time. The rooms were well-kept and convenient, but I felt the price was on the higher side considering some of the facilities could use a little enhancement. Overall, while we enjoyed many aspects, a few areas fell short of expectations.

My stay at the resort was quite wonderful overall! I loved the expansive beach area, which was great for my kids to swim and play safely without any boat traffic. The grounds were immaculate and well-maintained, offering a beautiful view of the lake. However, there were some issues with housekeeping that detracted from the experience, especially regarding the cleanliness of the sheets in our room. Despite this, the hospitality shown by the staff was commendable, making me want to return in the future.

My stay at this resort was quite disappointing. The location by the lake is lovely, but the accommodations didn’t meet our expectations at all. While my room was clean, I certainly didn't find it to be luxurious or comfortable as advertised. The bathroom was small and not up to par for a resort experience. Unfortunately, I had to cut my visit short due to these issues.

Golden Sands offers a lovely lakeside experience with clean rooms and a beautiful beach for relaxing. The free kayaks were a huge plus for our family, and Bob's hospitality made our stay enjoyable. However, there were some cleanliness issues in the second room we had to switch to, particularly with a musty odor that detracted from the overall experience.
